Hales, Norfolk, United Kingdom Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust Full time

Job Overview

Are you committed to enhancing the care experience for individuals with mental health challenges? Would you appreciate comprehensive training to deepen your understanding of mental health issues and advocate for this important patient demographic?

This position offers flexibility in scheduling, allowing you to create a work-life balance that suits your needs, even if you are interested in working in an inpatient environment.

NCH&C is establishing a newly formed team dedicated to supporting our Inpatient Wards in delivering care to patients with mental health diagnoses and concerns.

This team will undergo training designed to empower our Healthcare Support Workers, ensuring they are equipped to implement and share best practices in patient care.

You will collaborate with NCH&C teams, our specialized Mental Health nurse, patients, and their families to execute care plans that prioritize optimal patient experiences and outcomes.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to develop your own working schedule within the team, allowing for greater adaptability beyond standard clinical shift patterns. While your primary location will be a designated 'home' ward, you will be expected to travel to various sites to provide support to teams and patients requiring your expertise.

Main Responsibilities

1. Assist inpatient teams across various geographical areas.

2. Follow the directives of the Registered Nurse (RN) promptly and accurately, who is responsible for the overall delivery of care.
