Children's Residential Deputy Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Exceptional Care, a leading provider of children's residential care services. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of our 2-bedded children's residential home in Garstang, Lancashire.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Registered Manager in ensuring that each young person's needs are met through effective assessment and care planning. You will also be responsible for taking the lead in setting standards and evaluating achievements, as well as promoting team development and effective team working.
As a Deputy Manager, you will be expected to demonstrate a deep understanding of the needs of children with complex backgrounds and challenging behaviors. You will work closely with the Registered Manager and other colleagues to ensure that our services are delivered to the highest standards, and that each young person receives the support and care they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of the home
- Assist in ensuring that each young person's needs are met through effective assessment and care planning
- Take the lead in setting standards and evaluating achievements
- Promote team development and effective team working
- Work closely with the Registered Manager and other colleagues to ensure that our services are delivered to the highest standards
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent
- 2 years' experience in a children's residential setting at senior level
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
