Deputy Manager - Nursery - Preston

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the nursery, supervising staff, and developing educational programs for children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to nursery staff, promoting a positive and supportive team culture.
  • Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of children, aligning with our nursery's values and goals.
  • Communicate regularly with parents, keeping them informed of their child's progress and well-being.
  • Drive continuous improvement in nursery operations, identifying areas for growth and implementing effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting, with a strong understanding of early childhood education principles.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with children, staff, and parents.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to manage a team and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently, managing competing demands and deadlines.
