Deputy Ward Manager (RMN) - Mental Health Hospital

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Ward Manager (RMN) to join our team at a specialist Mental Health hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients experiencing an acute mental health crisis.

About the Role: As a Deputy Ward Manager (RMN), you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and supporting the Ward Manager in the management of the ward. You will be expected to promote positive teamwork, ensure the delivery of high-quality care, and contribute to the development of the ward's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A relevant nursing qualification (RMN)
  • A valid NMC registration with no restrictions or referrals
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • A minimum of 2 years of mental health experience as a nurse, in the UK
  • Strong team-working skills
  • A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
