As a Technical Service Operator at Smurfit Westrock, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our sites meet customer and company requirements. You will maintain positive relationships with suppliers, internal teams, and external customers, while proactively addressing quality issues and managing technical information related to carton production.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Managing technical carton production information within the Technical Service team
* Receiving task directives from your line manager, participating in meetings, and completing performance reviews
* Undertaking general responsibilities as instructed by your line manager and efficiently operating within the preproduction environment, assisting teammates
* Gathering data from customers for new items
* Generating Master Estimates, Production Estimates, and item specs
* Managing revision levels and item obsolescence
* Ensuring accurate cost capture
* Making combi decisions and processing items for combi print when necessary
* Conducting technical-level pre-flighting of artwork
* Ensuring production meets the highest quality standards, SOP guidelines, and customer requirements

What you will need to succeed:

* Print and packaging, manufacturing experience would be desirable
* Familiarity with Radius ERP software would be desirable
* Possess proficiency in MS Office Suite Applications; familiarity with Adobe / FileMaker software is advantageous
* Knowledge of print/prepress/repro activity
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
