The role of Technical Sales Specialist must focus on regularly achieving targets through the provision of excellent service to clients.

**Main Purpose of Position**

The Technical Sales Specialist will be responsible for business growth via sales across developing areas and increasing sales, by fostering and developing relationships with customers, suppliers and other partners, whilst identifying new business partners and customers.

The job purpose is to increase market share through strategic planning, effective market positioning and enhanced customer awareness of the business’s products and services.

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing a robust sales strategy to exploit the range of company products and offering End-to-End solutions.
- Identifying new sales leads, then proactively looking to convert these leads to win AV design, installation and maintenance contracts.
- Identifying (lead generation) and closing opportunities for new business growth; including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services
- Carrying out site surveys and formulating accurate and competitive proposals
- Nurturing client relationships ensuring that clients always receive the highest levels of customer service
- Achievement of specific sales targets
- Liaising with operations to ensure the highest level of service is received and that the job is carried out in accordance with the customers' instructions
- Attending relevant seminars, conferences and events where appropriate to enhance comprehension of market trends and development

**Essential Experience**
- Minimum of three years proven sales, account management or business development experience, gained preferably in the Audio Visual industry or similar technical sales role.
- Proven record of achieving financial targets and KPI’s
- Demonstrable record of achieving new business within a commercial environment

**Essential Skills**
- Genuine interest in Audio Visual and associated products/industries
- Professional level verbal and written communication and negotiations skills to a senior management level
- Ability to handle challenging situations, managing complex projects and multi-tasking
- Ability to organise and prioritise workloads, with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to use initiative, flexibility and adapt within a quickly changing environment
- Ability to travel as per business needs
- Full driving license
- IT literate and proficient in MS Office packages
