Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Allied Health Professional Information Officer to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. This is a key leadership role that will play a crucial part in the success of our Digital and Nursing Strategies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting workstreams as part of our Electronic Patient Record (EPR) implementation project. They will work closely with our Chief Nursing Information Officer (CNIO) and Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO) to develop and implement digital solutions that support nursing, midwifery, and allied health professional practice.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and support workstreams as part of the EPR implementation project
  • Develop and implement digital solutions that support nursing, midwifery, and allied health professional practice
  • Collaborate with the CNIO and CCIO to ensure effective clinical safety and governance
  • Drive continuous clinical process improvement in the allied health workforce
  • Develop clinical information that supports and enhances allied health professional practice and organisational efficiency
Requirements
  • Relevant professional/clinical qualification (HCPC registered)
  • First level degree in related healthcare discipline
  • Master's degree relevant to role or equivalent experience
  • Teaching/Mentorship qualification
  • Clinical Safety Officer Practitioner or willingness to undertake
Desirable Criteria
  • Digital Health Leadership course or working towards
  • Post Grad management qualification and/or equivalent experience
  • Project management qualification/experience
