Position Overview

Pembrook Resourcing is currently in search of a Lead HR Consultant to support our client, a prominent dealership group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Recruitment: You will be instrumental in the strategic development and upkeep of our workforce, focusing on both attracting and retaining exceptional talent within the organization.
  • End-to-End Recruitment Management: Oversee the complete recruitment cycle, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers alike.
  • Job Advertising: Strategically post job advertisements across various recruitment platforms to maximize visibility and effectiveness.
  • Recruitment Initiatives: Lead all recruitment initiatives, including assessment centers, liaising with recruitment agencies, and enhancing employee engagement through referral programs.
  • Cost-Effective Processes: Ensure recruitment processes are efficient and cost-effective.
  • Progress Updates: Provide regular updates on recruitment progress to hiring managers and senior management.
  • Application Review: Review incoming applications and conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate compatibility with role requirements and company culture.
  • Background Screening: Conduct thorough pre-employment background checks, including reference verifications and qualification confirmations.
  • Onboarding Setup: Ensure new hires are properly set up in the HR system, including working patterns and training enrollments prior to their start date.
  • Probation Meetings: Schedule probation meetings for new employees.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Human Resource Information System (HRIS), and Excel.
  • Policy Adherence: Uphold all relevant HR policies and practices, ensuring compliance and confidentiality.
  • HR Support: Occasionally assist line managers and employees with HR-related inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on current employment legislation and HR best practices to enhance recruitment processes.

Qualifications
  • Proficient in the use of ATS, HRIS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possess a Level 3 CIPD qualification or be pursuing a Level 5 CIPD qualification with membership.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR department with a focus on recruitment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
