Raw Material Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Raw Material Supervisor to join our team at Tessenderlo Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective treatment of raw materials, which is critical to our production targets and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to improve liming and neutralisation process efficiency
- Coordinate the day-to-day activities of raw material treatment operators, including performance management and time and attendance control
- Monitor and control pit levels, liming temperatures, and water usage to ensure optimal process conditions
- Manage the inventory of raw materials, including goods receipt and allocation of treated material to upcoming extractions
- Coordinate maintenance activities for liming pits and valves, and ensure compliance with housekeeping and audit requirements
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for raw material treatment and training records for farm personnel
- Monitor chemical consumptions and receipt of chemical deliveries, and coordinate with hauliers and improvement initiatives
Requirements
- BTEC, A Levels, or National Diploma in a relevant field
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Package
- Strong knowledge of production/ manufacturing processes and quality control
- Excellent communication and people management skills
