Job Title: Raw Material Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Raw Material Supervisor to join our team at Tessenderlo Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective treatment of our raw materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve process control and efficiency in the liming and neutralisation process
  • Coordinate the receipt and storage of raw materials, ensuring accurate inventory management and minimising waste
  • Monitor and control chemical consumptions, ensuring optimal usage and reducing costs
  • Collaborate with operators to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and provide training and support as needed
  • Manage maintenance activities, scheduling and coordinating repairs and replacements as required
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for raw material treatment
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to raw material treatment

Requirements

  • BTEC, A Levels, or National Diploma in a relevant field
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
