Raw Material Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Raw Material Supervisor to join our team at Tessenderlo Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective treatment of raw materials, driving process improvements, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize raw material usage and reduce waste
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth operation of raw material treatment processes
- Monitor and control liming inventory, pit levels, and temperatures to ensure optimal performance
- Coordinate day-to-day tasks, including water usage and maintenance activities
- Lead performance management of operators working in raw material treatment areas
- Manage time and attendance systems for raw material treatment operators
- Schedule maintenance activities for liming pits and valves
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for raw material treatment
- Train and develop farm personnel on raw material treatment processes
- Manage goods receipt of raw materials in SAP
- Generate liming pit process orders and ossein consumptions in SAP
- Allocate treated material to upcoming extractions in SAP
- Monitor chemical consumptions and receipt of chemical deliveries
- Serve as point of contact for raw material hauliers and improvement initiatives
Requirements
- BTEC, A Levels, or National Diploma in a relevant field
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in production or manufacturing
- SAP experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Package
- Production/Manufacturing environment experience
- Behavioural competencies: People Management, Assertiveness, Communication
