Job Title: Raw Material Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Raw Material Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of our raw material treatment process. This position will be responsible for delivering a fast return on investment through improved control of the liming and neutralisation process, optimisation of ossein deliveries, and driving CAPEX initiatives in the area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curation of liming inventory spreadsheet
  • Evaluation and control of pit levels & corrective actions
  • Evaluation and control of liming temperatures
  • Coordination of day to day tasks & water usage
  • Performance management of operators working in raw material treatment area
  • Control of time & attendance system for raw material treatment operators
  • Scheduling maintenance activities for liming pits/valves
  • Accomplishment of Housekeeping activities and audits in Farm Areas
  • Creation and update of farm SOPs
  • Curation of training records for Farm personnel
  • Goods receipt of raw material in SAP
  • Generation of liming pit process orders & ossein consumptions in SAP
  • Allocation of treated material to upcoming extractions in SAP
  • Monitoring chemical consumptions & receipt of chemical deliveries
  • Point of contact for raw material hauliers
  • Point of contact for improvement initiatives relating to raw material treatment area

Requirements:

  • Minimum qualifications: BTEC, A Levels, National Diploma
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Knowledge: SAP experience, Proficient in Microsoft Office Package, Production/Manufacturing environment experience
  • Behavioural Competencies: People Management, Assertiveness, Communication
