We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Care Specialist to join our team at Sterling Cross Ltd. As a Registered Health Play Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic and generic play and leisure activities for children with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver play and leisure activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development in children with complex needs.
- Work collaboratively with the Play Team to ensure seamless delivery of services and support to children and families.
- Provide guidance and leadership to the Play Team, promoting good teamwork and effective communication.
- Support the Family Support Lead in Employee Relations activities, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Travel to various locations across the East Midlands, including rural areas, to provide services and support to children and families.
Requirements:
- Fully-qualified Health Play Specialist and registered with the SoHPS (HPSET).
- Experience working with babies and children of all ages, including those with complex needs.
- Ability to travel independently and safely, with access to a vehicle.
