About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Band 5 Nurse to join our dedicated care team at Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for children and young people in partnership with them and their families.
  • Provide symptom management, palliative, and end-of-life care in a family-centered environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified RSCN/RN (Child Branch)/RNLD/RGN with post-registration experience and relevant placement experience or pre-nurse training care experience. Experience working with children and young people with complex needs is essential.
