Position Overview:

We are seeking Accuracy Checking Technicians (ACTs) to enhance our dynamic pharmacy team, delivering exceptional services to our clients, patients, and healthcare partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to and advocate for relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies to ensure patient safety at all times.
  • Thoroughly verify all details on dispensed patient orders to identify and rectify any discrepancies before the orders are released from the pharmacy.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow dispensing team members to maintain the efficient and safe operation of the dispensary.
  • Review and act upon all communications from the head office and other relevant parties to ensure necessary actions are executed for the pharmacy and its customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Execute any reasonable requests made by authorized personnel.
  • Contribute to HealthNet's commitment to continuous improvement by sharing your insights with the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Proactively assist other departments during peak times to support overall operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

Preferred:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a pharmacy environment is desirable.

Required Qualifications:

  • NVQ3 Accuracy Checking Technician certification.
  • Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC).

  • Ability to provide precise and expert knowledge regarding the accurate dispensing of medications.
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships within the pharmacy team, motivating colleagues to uphold high standards of care for our customers and patients.
