Role Overview:

We are seeking Patient Support Advisors to enhance our dynamic Patient Support team, delivering exceptional services to our clients, patients, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to and advocate for relevant company policies and procedures to ensure patient safety at all times.
  • Handle incoming calls, addressing customer inquiries and complaints while ensuring accurate information is documented and communicated to the appropriate parties.
  • Initiate outbound calls to patients to schedule their medical deliveries.
  • Manage internal communication systems, including updating contact lists and ensuring the accuracy of email distribution groups.
  • Maintain organized documentation and filing systems within the department.
  • Ensure timely receipt of prescriptions while upholding patient confidentiality and data protection standards.
  • Review and act upon communications from headquarters to ensure necessary actions are executed for pharmacy and customer needs.
  • Contribute to HealthNet's commitment to continuous improvement by sharing suggestions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide support across various departments as needed to assist with workload fluctuations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Desirable:

  • Experience in a contact center environment is preferred.

Essential:

  • Proven ability to resolve customer issues professionally.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality customer service.

Educational Background:

  • Qualifications in Customer Service or a related field are preferred but not mandatory.

Key Competencies:

  • Polite and efficient communication skills.
  • Ability to craft professional written correspondence.
  • Timely execution of tasks while maintaining patient confidentiality and data protection protocols.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in computer usage.
