Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Digital Waffle. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, utilizing the latest Microsoft technologies, and act as a crucial point of escalation from the first line of support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical support on the Microsoft technology stack, ensuring seamless operation of our IT systems.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues from the first line support team, collaborating with other IT professionals to resolve software and hardware incidents.
  • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues, including operating systems and across a range of software applications, to ensure efficient operation of our IT systems.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all solutions implemented, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Contribute to the improvement of existing processes and procedures, driving innovation and excellence in our IT operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Support Specialist, preferably in a Microsoft technology environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Exchange Server, and other Microsoft server technologies, ensuring seamless integration with our IT systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with users and team members, ensuring seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.
