Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Catering Assistant to join our team at one of our specialized hospitals. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our patients, staff, and visitors receive delicious and nutritious meals prepared to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with meal preparation according to established guidelines and recipes.
  • Serve food and beverages to patients, staff, and visitors in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure proper storage rotation of ingredients.
  • Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet dietary requirements and special requests.

Requirements

  • Relevant catering experience is preferred, but not essential.
  • A strong understanding of food safety practices (COSHH and HACCP) is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for working effectively within a team.
