Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Localization Project Manager to join our dynamic team for our upcoming AAA Battle Royale game, Off The Grid. As a key member of our localization team, you will be responsible for managing the global translation needs for all digital platforms and overseeing the localization workflow for our game.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the localization process for all digital platforms, ensuring seamless integration of translated content.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, copywriters, and regional offices to develop customized localization strategies and meet project requirements.
  • Work closely with external vendors to ensure translators have the necessary resources and information to deliver high-quality localization on time and within budget.
  • Optimize workflows by effectively utilizing internal translation tools and systems.
  • Identify potential project risks and proactively provide solutions to resolve or mitigate them.
  • Maintain and utilize translation tools, glossaries, and style guides to ensure consistency in tone, style, and quality.
  • Provide guidance on localization best practices and assist with any tool, process, font, or language-specific queries.
  • Work with Vendor Management to monitor and assess vendor performance, addressing any issues that arise.
Requirements
  • Over 3 years of experience in a localization or translation project management role, preferably within the gaming or digital entertainment sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of CAT tools and content management systems.
  • Up-to-date with the latest translation technologies, with hands-on experience in machine translation and post-editing being a significant advantage.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and processes.
  • Outstanding organizational and prioritization abilities, with experience managing complex, high-speed projects.
  • Capable of working independently and handling multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Inquisitive and creative, with excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Proficient in more than one language.
