Job Summary:
An Associate Project Manager who coordinates any area of the video game localization and related tasks. The possible area of work includes localization of in-game text and glossary terms, Q&A management, and various checks related to video game localization. This is a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract position with the possibility of conversion to a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate localization of video games and other related text from Japanese into French/German/Italian/Spanish, involving communication and coordination with various internal and external partners in the UK, US, Japan, and Europe.
- Internal Q&A management.
- Assist internal teams as necessary, including Localization Management (Localisation Support and Artwork teams), Localization and Marketing teams.
Requirements:
- Excellent coordination and communication skills in both English and Japanese.
- Ability to work under pressure, with tight deadlines and shifting schedules.
- Experience working with a team of translators of multiple languages.
- Knowledge of French/German/Italian/Spanish is an advantage but not essential.
- Knowledge/interest/experience in video games and/or the video game industry is a plus but not essential.
