Position Overview:

As a vital member of the in-house translation unit, the Localization Project Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Translations and Global Publication Relations teams, ensuring the delivery of translation services that bolster our international investment columns.


It is essential for candidates to thoroughly review all aspects of this job listing before proceeding with their application.

You will report directly to the Translations Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities:
Act as a primary liaison for internal stakeholders and facilitate the translation and dissemination of global investment columns in various media channels.
Engage with language experts, internal teams, and external vendors to oversee projects from inception to completion.
Operate under stringent deadlines to guarantee the timely release of content across different time zones.
Establish an editorial schedule for column production, managing time, resources, and quality assurance.
Identify potential project risks and devise strategies to mitigate them.
Monitor and report to senior management on production progress, addressing queries to aid in decision-making.
Assist in the ongoing development of reference materials, including style guides and terminology databases.
Support the Translation Team Leader in nurturing vendor relationships and evaluating new language resources.
Handle vendor quotes and invoices.
Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned by management, including project management for various Fisher materials across departments such as Sales, Service, Research, Content, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, Business, or a related field with equivalent experience.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a translation project management role.
A strong grasp of localization processes and Translation Management Systems (TMS).
Ability to work independently while managing assigned tasks.
Experience in cross-functional collaboration with senior stakeholders and external vendors.
Fluency in English at a business level; proficiency in an additional European or Asian language is advantageous.
Experience in finance and capital markets is a plus but not mandatory.
Background in public relations, communications, or marketing projects is beneficial but not essential.
