Job Title: Academic Projects Coordinator
Job Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to support the TV Access Project, a pioneering initiative to create an accessible and inclusive industry. As an Academic Projects Coordinator, you will play a vital role in facilitating access requirements, coordinating production spaces training, and managing the project's contact database and file storage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and facilitating online workstream meetings
- Supporting workstream leads to share meeting agendas and saving meeting notes
- Coordinating access requirements for meetings, including booking BSL interpreters
- Organizing travel and accommodation for events
- Project coordinating Production Spaces training
- Supporting users of the BAFTA x TAP Self-Audit hub (Training will be provided)
- Managing and updating TAP's contact database and file storage
Person Specification:
We are looking for an individual with lived experience of disability and an understanding of the barriers disabled people experience in the TV industry. You should have experience of facilitating access requirements, working in project coordination, and possessing detailed organization skills. Strong ability to work independently and manage responsibilities is essential, as well as effective communication.
