HRLife Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Advisor to join their team. As a key member of the HR department, you will play a vital role in supporting the business in all aspects of human resources.
This is a generalist role that requires a strong understanding of HR principles and practices. You will be responsible for providing guidance and support to employees and managers on a range of HR-related issues, including absence, performance, disciplinary procedures, and grievances.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Employee Relations: Coach managers and employees on HR-related issues, provide guidance on policies and procedures, and support with disciplinary procedures and grievances.
- HR Strategy: Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and procedures in line with current legislation.
- Payroll and Benefits: Oversee the payroll process, ensure employees are paid correctly and on time, and manage benefits administration.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage all recruitment administration, ensure a great candidate experience, and oversee the onboarding process for new employees.
- HR Systems and Data: Analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements to HR systems and processes.
- GDPR and Compliance: Take ownership of all GDPR-related tasks and requests, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Wellbeing and Diversity: Embed new initiatives around wellbeing and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Business Partnerships: Support the HR Manager in developing and implementing effective HR policies and practices that support the strategic growth of the business.
- Project Work: Contribute to business-focused projects, including retention, mental health, employee engagement, reward, and recognition.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, can influence and work closely with the business, and is passionate about HR.
Ideal background will include:
Minimum CIPD L3 or equivalent
Previous experience in dealing with employee relations cases, such as grievances and disciplinary hearings
This role is hybrid, with 3 days a week in the office and 2 days at home.
Salary to £45,000 plus benefits
