We currently are recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor, for one of our prestigious clients based between Wetherby & York. The role will support the employee processes throughout the employment life cycle and to support the Head of HR in the future of the HR. As part of a small but perfectly formed team, each member is happy to juggle a variety of workloads.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Conduct interviews with key stakeholders as required

Log all elements of the recruitment process, co-ordinating each stage of the recruitment process ensuring all involved at kept up to date with progress and prompted to act at the appropriate stages of the process

Prepare new starter documentation and conduct all pre-employment checks such as Right to Work documentation in accordance with current UK legislation

Lead and manage the on boarding process for new starters through to successful induction

Liaise with recruitment agency partners to ensure that peak volume periods are appropriately resourced

Be the first point of contact for HR related queries and enquiries, providing proactive advice to managers on all areas of employee relations

Manage casework relating to sickness absence, providing advice and support to managers in sick absence and capability case review meetings

Support a performance management culture by advising and guiding managers on performance management and capability related cases

Maintain HR data base, ensuring accuracy of data

Contribute to the successful implementation of HR policies and procedures

Support the Head of HR on evaluation, redesign and continuous improvement of HR policies and practices to ensure the most effective processes exist

Keep up to date with developments in employment legislation and human resources best practice, knowledge sharing within the team to ensure continuous development and improvement in the service offered.

Full time 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, (1 day per week can be worked remotely if necessary) paying up to £38,000 depending on experience.
