Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing our compliance program, ensuring adherence to local, national, and international regulations. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of compliance regulations and the ability to stay up-to-date with changing laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance program to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.
- Provide advice on compliance matters related to our operations, including real estate, construction, human resources, data privacy, permitting, and other areas as needed.
- Support ESG and D&I and corporate sustainability programs and initiatives.
- Implement and improve our compliance system tools, including the whistleblower hotline and case management tool.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Compliance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- JD from an accredited law school is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory affairs, with a significant portion in the data center or technology industry.
- Significant compliance experience, including anti-bribery and anti-corruption, trade compliance, data privacy, internal investigations, and whistle blower/anonymous reporting.
