Job Title: Site Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager to join our team at Livingstone Primary School. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the school's facilities, including cleaning, security, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the cleaning and maintenance of the school's premises, including daily cleaning, health and safety checks, and minor repairs.
- Liaise with external contractors, including window and carpet cleaners, and gardeners.
- Conduct regular health and safety checks, including fire alarm checks and legionella risk assessments.
- Manage the school's security, including opening and closing the school.
- Ensure that the school's facilities are maintained to a high standard, including cleaning, decorating, and minor repairs.
Requirements:
- Highly motivated and experienced Site Manager with a proven track record of managing facilities and maintenance teams.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and external contractors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
- Basic DIY skills and a practical aptitude for general building and grounds maintenance.
- Awareness of health and safety matters and a willingness to undergo appropriate training where needed.
