We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Fitness Operations Manager to join our team at Village Hotels. As a key member of our leisure club management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fitness facilities and delivering exceptional customer service to our members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate a team of fitness staff to deliver high-quality fitness classes and personal training sessions.
  • Develop and implement effective fitness programs and services to meet the needs of our members.
  • Monitor and control costs to ensure the efficient operation of our fitness facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and statutory requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service to members and prospective members, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Work closely with the Leisure Club Manager to achieve business objectives and deliver excellent standards of service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a fitness management role, preferably in a leisure club or hotel environment.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with members and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards and statutory requirements.
