We are looking for a qualified and experienced Pastoral Manager to join our dedicated team. This role involves working across our two primary educational sites to provide support and engagement for students, many of whom face significant challenges in their learning journey. A background in educational support roles is essential to foster a positive atmosphere that encourages success and personal growth.

The Tameside Pupil Referral Service caters to students from Key Stage 2 to 4, focusing on those who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education, as well as those with special educational and medical needs. The successful candidate will become part of a diverse and dynamic local authority that prioritizes the welfare and education of our most vulnerable youth.

Our facilities for KS3 and KS4 were constructed in 2012 as part of the Building Schools for the Future initiative, providing excellent opportunities for further development and enhancement.

The council adheres to strict safer recruitment practices, and comprehensive pre-employment checks will be conducted prior to confirming any appointment. This position is subject to Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks.
