Remote with monthly office visits

Salary: 30,437

Contract:
Fixed-term until March 18, 2025

About the Role:

As a key member of the Financial Operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the precise and thorough recording of income within our financial and housing management systems.

Your responsibilities will include managing payment processing, generating invoices, providing support for credit control, and addressing queries.

This position is well-suited for individuals who possess strong attention to detail, excellent IT capabilities, and the ability to perform under pressure.

While an AAT qualification is preferred, it is not a strict requirement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and allocate payments to respective accounts.
  • Generate and send debtor invoices.
  • Reconcile cash transactions and resolve any unposted items.
  • Support credit control initiatives and manage direct debit collections.
  • Contribute to system and service enhancement projects.


Requirements:
  • GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
  • AAT qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in a processing or transactional team, with familiarity in computerized accounting systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and financial acumen.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and a demanding workload while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
