About the Role:

As a key member of the Financial Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the precise and thorough posting of income into our financial and housing management systems. Your role will encompass payment processing, invoice issuance, credit control support, and query resolution.

This position is well-suited for individuals who possess a meticulous attention to detail, robust IT capabilities, and the capacity to perform under pressure.

While an AAT qualification is preferred, it is not a strict requirement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and allocate payments to respective accounts.
  • Generate and send debtor invoices.
  • Reconcile cash transactions and address unposted items.
  • Assist in credit control and oversee direct debit collections.
  • Contribute to system and service enhancement initiatives.


Requirements:
  • GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
  • AAT qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in a processing or transactional team, familiarity with computerized accounting systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and financial acumen.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and a demanding workload while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
