About the Role:
As a key member of the Financial Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the precise and comprehensive recording of income within our financial and housing management systems.
Your duties will include managing payment processes, generating invoices, providing support for credit control, and addressing queries effectively.This position is well-suited for individuals who possess a meticulous attention to detail, robust IT capabilities, and the capacity to perform under pressure.
While an AAT qualification is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement.Key Responsibilities:
- Process and allocate payments to the appropriate accounts.
- Generate and send debtor invoices.
- Reconcile cash transactions and resolve any unposted items.
- Support credit control efforts and manage direct debit collections.
- Contribute to system and service enhancement initiatives.
Requirements:
- GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
- AAT qualification is preferred but not essential.
- Experience in a processing or transactional environment, with familiarity in computerized accounting systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and financial skills.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced setting, managing competing priorities and a demanding workload while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
