Overview:

Resourcing Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee our specialized live-in care service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all facets of care delivery, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and maintaining the highest quality of service.

Compensation Package:

  • Salary range: £40,000 - £45,000 based on experience
  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM, with flexibility for urgent matters

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the daily operations of the live-in care service align with CQC requirements and reflect client care needs.
  • Lead the establishment of a new local domiciliary care service.
  • Work in partnership with the General Manager to develop a cohesive team across the organization.
  • Collaborate with senior care managers to support and manage the care team effectively.
  • Represent the organization in discussions with healthcare professionals and community partners.
  • Provide insights on potential growth opportunities for the organization.
  • Inspire and guide your team through effective supervision, performance evaluations, and ongoing coaching.
  • Ensure all staff receive essential training, including mandatory sessions, to uphold their skills and knowledge.
  • Prioritize client safety and well-being by overseeing thorough client assessments and risk management plans.
  • Engage with clients and their representatives to create personalized care plans that honor their individual needs and preferences.
  • Guarantee timely creation of care plans that comply with CQC regulations and address identified risks.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control Manager to implement quality management systems and maintain accurate records.
  • Monitor regulatory compliance and identify areas for enhancement, reporting findings to senior management.
  • Provide ethical leadership, adhering to the organization's governance framework and fostering a culture of transparency.
  • Safeguard clients and staff by ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements and company policies.
  • Make informed decisions regarding safeguarding alerts, prioritizing the best interests of clients and caregivers.
  • Effectively manage on-call situations, including staff allocation for absences to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Manager qualification (NVQ Level 5 or equivalent) or actively pursuing it within the next 12 months.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a health or social care environment in a similar role, preferably within live-in care, residential, or nursing settings.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven capability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Solid understanding of CQC regulations and best practices in live-in care.
  • Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office, essential for this role.
