Role: Business Relations Manager

Weekly Hours: Full-time

Location: Nottingham Woodthorpe Hospital

Key Responsibilities:

This dynamic position focuses on assisting the Private Patients Manager in enhancing growth and boosting referrals across various payor channels into the hospital and Ramsay Health Care at large. Your primary goal will be to cultivate and execute outstanding stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.

As a Business Relations Manager, you will be stationed mainly at the hospital, tasked with augmenting and delivering targeted referrals and revenue through the establishment of robust connections and effective stakeholder relationships within the referring healthcare network.

You will operate within a designated territory aimed at increasing Ramsay's market presence and brand recognition, necessitating visits to specified target groups as business needs dictate.

The ideal candidate will coordinate and facilitate educational initiatives while fostering referral opportunities among consultants, GPs, and other external stakeholders through high-quality communication methods, both virtually and in person. You will also assist in crafting an engagement strategy and executing promotional activities.

This role will leverage analytics and data insights to ensure optimal utilization of time and resources for both new and existing referrers, facilitating the development of your portfolio and identifying business development opportunities aligned with the hospital's strategic objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the healthcare sector or a successful background in sales and account management.
  • Ability to function effectively both as part of a team and independently in a field-based capacity.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong determination and resilience with a commitment to achieving targets.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends for scheduled events and hospitality.
  • Excellent customer service aptitude with a talent for building enduring client relationships.
  • Strong time management skills with the capacity to adapt and re-prioritize as needed.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain commercial relationships and networks.
  • Familiarity with the UK healthcare landscape.
  • Valid UK driving license.
