Position Overview

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Chief Nurse, Deputy Chief Nurses, and Assistant Directors of Nursing, providing essential operational and strategic management assistance. The individual in this role is expected to cultivate constructive relationships within the organization and with external stakeholders to support the Trust's objectives on behalf of the Chief Nurse Office and the Institute of Care Excellence.

The Healthcare Operations Manager must be dynamic, adaptable, and responsive to the evolving demands of the role, proactively anticipating the needs of the Chief Nurse Office and the Institute of Care Excellence. The position requires the ability to identify and manage urgent and sensitive issues, ensuring that all parties are adequately informed. The Manager should be capable of working independently while also fostering a collaborative approach across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and communicate a diverse range of complex and often sensitive information to provide recommendations to the Chief Nurse Office, facilitating strategic decision-making.

- Support the commercial and business development initiatives of the Institute of Care Excellence.

- Lead and manage projects, overseeing complex and strategic work areas on behalf of the Chief Nurse Office and the Institute of Care Excellence.

- Serve as a specialist advisor to the Chief Nurse Office and the Institute of Care Excellence.

- Convey information effectively, whether verbally, in writing, or through presentations, to the Chief Nurse Office and relevant external stakeholders.

- Present strategic, management, and contractual information clearly and transparently.

- Ensure timely and professional delivery of actions assigned to the Chief Nurse.

- Prepare the Chief Nurse, Deputy Chief Nurses, and Assistant Directors of Nursing for business meetings, coordinating the effective execution of any actions arising from these meetings.

- Organize and lead meetings, events, and activities involving a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders as necessary.

- Foster positive relationships across the organization and with external partners to support the Trust's objectives on behalf of the Chief Nurse, Deputy Chief Nurses, and Assistant Directors of Nursing.

Qualifications and Experience
