About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adult Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our CAMHS team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality service provision that promotes and improves the mental health and well-being of young people, their families, and carers.
  • Undertake needs-led, evidence-based assessments and therapeutic interventions to young people, their families, and carers who present to the service, including those who have deliberately self-harmed.
  • Liaise and support robust partnership working arrangements between CAMHS and Adult Mental Health services, community partners, and other key stakeholders involved with the child across agencies to develop an integrated package of care.
  • Provide a high level of generic skills and competencies and work towards developing areas of clinical expertise within the field of ADHD, complementing other members of the team.
