Key Responsibilities- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality service provision that promotes and improves the mental health and well-being of young people, their families, and carers.
- Undertake needs-led, evidence-based assessments and therapeutic interventions to young people, their families, and carers who present to the service, including those who have deliberately self-harmed.
- Liaise and support robust partnership working arrangements between CAMHS and Adult Mental Health services, community partners, and other key stakeholders involved with the child across agencies to develop an integrated package of care.
- Provide a high level of generic skills and competencies and work towards developing areas of clinical expertise within the field of ADHD, complementing other members of the team.
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services, including secondary mental health care across this area. Our specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health, and forensic services, including low and medium secure care.
We also provide a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria, and Sefton area.
