About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Band 6 Senior Community Mental Health Practitioner. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to work with our team to provide high-quality care to individuals with severe and enduring mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert mental health care to individuals with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement recovery-based approaches
  • Contribute to the learning and development of junior team members
  • Take a lead on/or contribute to projects identified by the Furness CMHT leadership team
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse Degree, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist
  • Current registration with a professional body
  • Understanding of Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Knowledge and practice of the Mental Health Act 1983
  • Experience of risk management, care co-ordination/managing a caseload of clients with a range of mental health needs
