Head of Merchandise Planning

The Head of Merchandise Planning will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive merchandise range strategy that aligns with the company's overall brand and commercial objectives. This will involve:

  • Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing a merchandise range strategy that drives revenue growth, brand awareness, and fan engagement.
  • Product Development: Leading the development of merchandise collections that showcase the Williams Racing brand and resonate with the global fanbase.
  • Sales & Marketing: Overseeing the creation and execution of marketing campaigns to promote merchandise through various channels, including e-commerce, retail partners, and trackside events.
  • Inventory Management: Optimizing inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess stock and obsolescence.
  • Partnerships: Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to maximize merchandise opportunities, including co-branded products and special editions.
  • Market Analysis: Staying abreast of market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to inform product development and sales strategies.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience in merchandising, planning, retail management, or brand management, preferably within the sports or fashion industry.
  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, fashion merchandising, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with merchandise management systems.
