Position: Advanced Speech and Language Therapy Specialist

Location: East Midlands

Hours: Part-Time, 3 days per week

Contract: Permanent, Term-Time Only, 41 weeks

Salary: Up to £40,000 full-time equivalent

Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle

Role Overview

We are excited to offer a position for an Advanced Speech and Language Therapy Specialist to become part of our Clinical Wellbeing team. The successful candidate will collaborate to create tailored assessment and intervention strategies for our students. This is a remarkable opportunity to join a team that is expanding its clinical services, making a significant impact through a comprehensive, therapeutic approach.

You will manage a Speech and Language therapy caseload alongside fellow specialists at our educational setting in the East Midlands. With the backing of our experienced Clinical Team, you will also engage in staff training, consultations, and reflective practices. This role is both challenging and rewarding, ideal for a resilient and passionate individual who possesses a therapeutic mindset and the capability to make informed decisions while managing their own responsibilities.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Registered with HCPC and RCSLT
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in SEN education or a similar caseload
  • Experience in managing a complex caseload
  • Proficient report writing related to clinical and research activities
  • Full UK driving license with access to a car
  • Ability to work independently under supervision
  • Experience in multi-professional teams or services within the specialty
