About the Role:

SPEECH AND LANGUAGE UK is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Dawn House School. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting students with speech, language, and communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans to meet the needs of students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Provide training and support to staff on speech and language strategies and techniques.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in speech and language therapy.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy or related field.
  • Experience working with students with speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
