Job Title: Children's Home Registered Manager

Birtenshaw is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team in Bolton. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the welfare and safety of children and young people in our care, while also managing a team of dedicated staff.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of Children's Support Workers to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Framework for Inspection.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote the welfare and safety of children and young people.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, including incident reports and safeguarding concerns.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a children's home or similar setting.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, young people, and staff.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
  • Knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Framework for Inspection.
