About the Role
The Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an Industrial Placement student. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project that involves simulating and designing a new low energy muon beamline at the ISIS Neutron and Muon Source.
About the Project
The project aims to build on existing work to simulate and design a new low energy muon beamline at ISIS. The simulations performed will have a significant impact on the future of this long-term project and will answer the key question of how best to manipulate the existing ISIS muon beam to enable new types of low energy muon experiments.
