About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Leighton Taylor Consulting. As a key member of our Business Development & Marketing team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth
  • Work closely with the Senior Business Development Manager and Business Development Executives to achieve business objectives
  • Manage annual business development budgets and provide regular reports on sales activity and pipeline performance
  • Design and implement business development and client plans to drive lead generation and relationship building
  • Develop and maintain a network of intermediaries, targets, and client contacts to support business growth
  • Support the Client Relationships team in managing client panels and frameworks
  • Work with the Marketing & Communications team to develop campaigns positioning the firm as sector experts
  • Support the promotion of the sector through the firm's website, social media channels, email marketing, PR, and internal communications
Requirements
  • Proven track record in business development and marketing, ideally gained within a law firm or a similar industry
  • Highly organized and commercially minded with a client-centric ethic
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to communicate and present clearly, concisely, and credibly
  • Relevant financial services knowledge is highly advantageous
