About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Student Success Coach to join our team at GBS Global Applied Knowledge. As a Student Success Coach, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high levels of student retention and satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities
  • Student Support and Guidance: Provide comprehensive support and guidance to students, helping them navigate academic and personal challenges.
  • Problem Solving and Pre-emptive Action: Identify and address potential issues before they escalate, ensuring students receive timely and effective support.
  • Communication and Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for students, facilitating communication between students and GBS services.
  • Student Welfare and Retention: Work closely with the Student Welfare team to ensure student needs are met, and identify students at risk of disengagement.
  • Administrative and Organizational Skills: Maintain accurate records, administer surveys, and contribute to the collection of results for analysis.
  • Team Collaboration and Flexibility: Work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and typically 5 years of administrative experience in a busy environment, ideally in Higher Education.
  • Service Delivery and Customer Focus: Strong sense of service delivery and customer/student-focused approach.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, active listening, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Administrative and Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Mail.
  • Attention to Detail and Initiative: Good attention to detail, ability to work well under pressure, and use initiative and judgment to resolve matters.
  • Confidentiality and Boundaries: Ability to handle sensitive and personal information with tact and confidentiality, maintaining working relationships and appropriate boundaries.
