Job Description

**Business Development Manager - Logistics & Non-Food Sectors (Field Based)**

**Role Overview:**

As a Sales and Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and expanding our presence within the Non-Food and Logistics Market Sectors. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring seamless integration of our solutions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Business Development:**
    • Develop and execute strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets.
    • Prospect, qualify, and close new sales opportunities to achieve quarterly sales targets.
    • Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs and competitive landscape.
  • **Client Relationship Management:**
    • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
    • Collaborate effectively with internal teams (such as product development and customer support) to ensure alignment and delivery of solutions that meet client requirements.
  • **Sales Execution:**
    • Initiate contact with potential clients, set up meetings, and conduct compelling product demonstrations.
    • Present customised solutions to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value propositions and benefits of our products and services.
    • Prepare and present quotations, negotiate terms, and close sales deals.
  • **Market Expertise:**
    • Stay updated on industry trends, market activities, and competitors to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
    • Continuously improve knowledge of products and services to effectively address customer inquiries and concerns.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management within the Non-Food or Logistics sectors is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively convey complex technical information.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset to evaluate options and drive results.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

**Education and Experience:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within the capital equipment or technology solutions industry.
