About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to join our Community Rehab Team in a full-time substantive post. The successful candidate will be based at Honiton Hospital and will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessments and interventions to support adults of all ages.

The role will involve working in the community, promoting independence, healthy living, rehabilitation, and prevention within patients' own homes and in care homes. You will be part of a friendly and supportive team that works in partnership with health and social care colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments and interventions to support adults of all ages
  • Work in the community, promoting independence, healthy living, rehabilitation, and prevention
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience of working in a community setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and prioritise workloads in response to changing demands
