About the Role

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Ward Manager to join our esteemed client, a leading provider of mental health services in Lancashire. Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the clinical team, ensuring high-quality patient care is delivered consistently.
  • Oversee the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans within established guidelines.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and development through education, clinical practice supervision, and audit initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Ward Manager to ensure smooth operational workflow and effective communication pathways.
  • Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion principles in all aspects of your work.
  • Identify and address staff training needs, fostering a skilled and motivated team.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with an active NMC Pin.
  • Proven clinical supervision experience.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development (CPD).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in acute mental health settings is highly desirable.
