We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our finance team at DJF Solicitors. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in preparing management accounts and be detail-oriented in handling financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile office accounts and purchase ledger on a daily basis
- Assist in accounts payable functions by processing invoices, expense claims, and payments
- Manage debt collection and engage with clients via phone, email, or letter
- Escalate issues and utilize internal litigation processes
- Approve bank transactions and provide bi-monthly reporting to the Financial Director and Managing Director on Debtors and Creditors
- Prepare monthly management accounts using Leap and Xero systems
Requirements:
- 4 years of accounts experience
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Experience with Xero software
