We are supporting a Legal firm in the Southampton area in their search for a skilled professional to join their Conveyancing team. The firm offers high standards of legal service to clients throughout Hampshire.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will assist and manage a busy case load as part of a team within residential conveyancing. Key responsibilities include:
- Opening new client files, sending out care letters, filing, and managing own diary
- Communication with clients, agents, third parties, and brokers
- Assisting fee earners from start to exchange and then completion & archive
- Submitting searches, offers, and title documents
- Dealing with ongoing enquiries received and supplying responses or escalating as required
Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate with a polite and professional manner, able to be courteous to all visitors and clients via the telephone, email, letter, and in person. Experience as a trainee, paralegal, or legal secretary is essential.
