About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Support Worker to join our team at Caridon Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing advice, assistance, and support to young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a Safe and Supportive Environment
    • Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of young people in our care.
    • Establish positive relationships with young people and provide unconditional support.
  • Support Young People in Their Daily Lives
    • Assist with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and general maintenance.
    • Help young people gain self-control and develop pro-social behavior.
  • Work Collaboratively with the Team
    • Attend team meetings and contribute to the development of the team.
    • Provide informal support to colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Maintain Accurate Records and Reports
    • Keep accurate records of young people's progress and provide written reports as required.
Requirements
  • Experience Working with Young People
    • Proven experience in working with young people in a support worker role.
  • Qualifications and Training
    • Will to work towards a NVQ level 3 and complete it within 8 months of starting the role.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Passionate about working with young people and committed to providing high-quality support.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
