Job Title: Residential Childcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Apple Orchard. As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring the needs of each young person are met.
  • Work collaboratively with the management team and other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the home.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and supportive team culture.
Requirements:
  • Hold a relevant qualification in childcare or a related field (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care).
  • Have experience working with young people, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Be able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
